Stud Ford is the grandson of Blues Legend T-Model Ford. Stud began to perform all around the world with his granddad at 6 performing at local juke joints like "Red's" in Clarksdale, MS to major festivals like The Telluride Blues and Brews Festival in Colorado. At age 14 Stud was asked to fill the shoes of his grandfather, not only as a musician but as the man of the house now.
Stud began touring with Hillcountry Blues legend, Lightnin Malcolm, which led to him touring with the North Mississippi Allstars and from there Stud has been rockin', playing the drums and guitar for different bands and people keeping his promise to his granddad and Blues culture.
